hi fellow civic fans. i have just purchased a EJ9 1998 civic 1.4. i have got a universal cone filter but i cant understand how to fit it. the airbox as standard seems wierd and there are things plugged into it. any help would be much appreciated thanks.

ok first of all unpluck + baterie wire then your stock sh..... got to go take front bumper off left side in front of the tire jup drow all that away unplug the sensor its about 7" from your throttle bodie in the stock air tobe remofe vac line put all that aside but your new intake on tighten everythin down whit your hand so u can still move it in posicon a lil bit then use the rubber bushing shood come whit the intake put that in that hole on the intake pluck sensor back in reconect vac line tighten everything up reconeckt baterie let it run for about 5 min let the ecu reprogram and your good to go

they shoota send u a manuel whit the intake explaneing the same thing

 

u dont have to take the bumper off to take out the stock air box and all. just gota get under there and find all the bolts and slip it out. atleast for my 95 that was the case.
