Default Another exhaust question

Well, I was thinking, and I really, really want to finally remove my dual exhaust. I'm currently saving up to have a custom-bent cat-back system installed, but I don't have quite enough money for that, so I just want a way to remove the second muffler for now. I have a friend that can weld, so if I need to, I can just have him weld on a plate to the extra exhaust tube after I remove the muffler, but are there any block-off plates or anything that I could buy? I'd think just bolting on an end cap would be easier than welding a plate over it. Anybody know?

Okay, never mind... I thought about it, and I'll just remove the y-pipe altogether... it'll shorten my exhaust system by like 8" and bring the muffler back under my bumper (where it'll look normal) anyway. Problem solved.

Mods/Admins, you can delete this post or lock it or whatever.

I know you already solved your question, but do you still have your stock exhaust? you could try that

^ nope... the guy at the muffler shop hacked the pipe off and threw away the old muffler... If I had the stock exhaust, I'd have put it back on when I took the body kit off andsaved upfor a cat-back
