The Weapon-R Secret Weapon uses the same physics principles as the V2, just in a different way (they are both patent pending). The secret weapon also has some sort of new filter that is supposed to flow better than K&N or even no filter at all, due to it's conical, spiral inducing design. I haven't seen any independant test of it yet though, so it may just be a clever marketing ploy.

hydrolock isnt that big of a thing. a little water is infact good for your engine because it cools it down. the only time i heard of water flooding and engine is when my friend hydrolocked his lincoln town car, and not only did it flood the engine, there were about 6 inches of water inside his car, not mentioning the fact that the puddle was almost two feet deep.

so far as i've read from AEM and heard, the v2 produces more power than an AEM CAI even tho it doesn't bring in cold air,
Im pretty sure u can get an AEM V2 COLD AIR intake.

Yea? Come to Charleston and see if hydrolock isnt a big thing. I have a sri and still try to avoid puddles because I have hydrstalled many times... which means water has managed to get up in my dizzy (and in some cases my filter would get soaked and kill the air flow to the engine causing the same problem) which is right next to my intake. Now, I have a new filter that has this plastic clear case around it and it actually prevents splash up to a point and also shields the heat from my tranny. It has worked very well.

ok i've been on the forum now for about 3 weeks and i tell you what this damn ? pops up 4 or 5 times a day. if you take your car to the beach and go diving in it you will get hydro lock if a gallon of water splash on your filter your filter will be wet but you will continue your path of traveland filter will dry.

use the search link it's very understanding if you don't know what you really mean put in short hand like water,cai,hydro,hydrolock,puddle,etc....
