maybe integra bumper/splash guards are a bad setup for hydrolocking, idk. I'm converting my SRI back to CAI in a week or so and i'm just gonna have my heatshield blocking water

SRI FTW, CAI FTL. I would never be able to run a CAI on my car for 2 reasons, 1) i dont want to, 2) my inner fender liner came off one day when going 120kph down the highway and tore all to hell.

my best friend hydrolocked his 98 EX with an AEM CAI. but he was an idiot and drove his car through a huge flash flood puddle that was in the road.

lol man mybrokenblinker you really hate it when someone brings up hydrolock with CAI's. It's cool though i'm not knock'n on ya.
Sorry, I don't mean to hate on it. I am a person that is logic based, and much of the time I just spit out the quickest answer that comes to my mind. I frequently forget to include words that make posts more personable so my posts frequently come of as short when actually I am just getting to the point. And I understand people have hydrolocked, it DOES happen. It's just that I wouldn't even consider a bypass valve. If you consider it, you might as well stay stock because you're not going to gain any power. I have driven through many a horrible storm with my V2 and like at least maybe 10 inches of water and not had problems, but if others have, then maybe sri or stock is something to think about. It's all up to the person I guess. My two cents, don't bother.
