cat back question (please help!!)

ok iam wanting to put a catback (skunk2) on my 01 ex. now here is the problem... my boss is saying that the distributor will go bad and f'up my ride. is this factual? if so what can i do to prevent it?

I'm not an expert, but I fail to see how a catback exhaust would have an effect on the distributor. Also I have never heard that happening before.

what? your boss doenst know much about cars. It wont do anything to your distributor, but it might mess up your tires.. jk

yeah it sounded goofy to me too. i later found out by one of our shop guys that she is full of **** when it comes to aftermarket parts. she just doesnt believe in it and wishes there were no tuners. oh whell. thanks guys. i will be ordering my skunk2 cat back within the next hour.
