I went to the muffler shop that my moms boss owns and got a custom catback put on for 100.00 and it sounds just as good as a 650.00 'brand name one'. Its got a better tone to it now since that resonator is off.

 

Sweet, congrats. Post some pics when you get a chance. What muffler did you go with? Notice any performance gains?

 

I tried to post pics but it keeps saying there too large, and i used the same "spoon' (type) muffler. The throttle response seems quicker than it used to be.

 

yeah, you have to resize them to 145x145 pixels. or just post them in the photo gallery. you have to have a gallery to be eligable for ride of the month anyway.

 

i just resently got my exsaust fully done with 2.25 inch piping and had the resinator taken out and i just used my old magnaflow exsaust... and it was like 96 bucks total with laber and piping, and they did a pretty damn good job.....the magnaflow made my car sound so much deeper, kind of like a tracker and not that really loud annoying piercing noise.......nice and deep but that is just my .02
