of course its just my luck that someone else got the last evo2 before i did......

so now im searchin yet again! leaning more towards megan drift spec if all i have to do is get the test pipe to make it fit. hopin that it doesn't compromise the sound of it too greatly. possibly a skunk2 if one fits my car or the apexi gt spec or n1.....

so i think ive decided now. searching is exhausting and emotional haha, i just want to get it over with. im tired of waiting and i want my exhaust on before i go to the mountains next wednesday. so im just going with the megan drift spec and the test pipe to fit. at least i'll end up saving $100!

UPDATE:

so modacar.com was where i was going to get the evo2 from. but now i am going to get the drift spec from them instead. they are a great company so far as i can tell. ever since i had the issue with the evo2 they were willing to call other distributors for me to see if they had it in stock and also were willing to look at alternatives for me. since the evo2 has been discontinued for over 2 yrs of course no one they contacted had it in stock. so instead they were able to get me the drift spec at a discounted price, $100 cheaper than another place i was looking to get it from. and they stated it should be delivered to my house by next tuesday since they are in livermore, ca and im in socal. so all in all it the drift spec and test pipe ends up being $200 less than the evo2. the people at modacar.com have been very helpful and as for now i would definitely recommend looking into them.

i read somewhere that if you run a test pipe WITHOUT the cat it is really loud and will NOT pass emissions. what if you run a test pipe WITH the cat?
