I personally like it too. Having the exhaust nicely integrated into the bumper (kinda like a Acura TL) looks very nice IMO. If I were to do it that's they way I would go. But I have seen some pathetic workmanship, crooked piping as opposed to symmetrical, hanging mufflers, unequal gaps. I'm a perfectionist. If it doesn't look right, or doesn't work start over and goto step 1 and repeat until it does.

if(workmanship==crap) {
done=false;
startOver(done);
}
else {
done=true;
continue;
}

$150 for axle-back tubing... it was basically perfect (other than the unpainted body kit/shaved badges)... the flow was perfectly even (you could really see it in the winter), they were perfectly symmetrical, etc.

Meanwhile, my friend has a cavi with duals... I throw up in my mouth a little everytime I see it... the left muffler sticks out a good two inches further than the right muffler... it looks horrible (and sounds raspy as f**k, too)

Reaper,
You see how you have square cut outs for the exhaust? Well build the exhaust tips so they follow the conture of the cut outs. That's what I had in mind. Otherwise its like putting a round peg into a square hole. Literally

i think if you got duals, in a year you'll wish you just had a nice single catback.....do you have an aftermarket rear bumper with the dual cutouts? If you do and are going to keep it, then i can see you getting duals, but even then i'd say double twin-loop mufflers ftw.

^ seriously, if I hadn't taken the body kit off, I'd still be rocking my dual exhausts... they sounded so much better than my single exhaust... quieter, less raspy, etc. And I like the idea of duals with twin loop mufflers... I might have to do that sometime... I plan on building an EG up as a show car anyway.

And EJ8, I understand what you're saying... unfortunately, I was a ricer when I had the kit and everything (threw an unpainted kit on an automatic civic, modified an automatic civic, thought my automatic civic was fast, etc.), so I really didn't take how clean the final effect would be into consideration. If I were to do a dual exhaust system on a civic again, I'd either have round dual outlets or square tips.

(and I know I'm going to catch hell for having had a civic with duals on at one point... it doesn't help that I still don't see anything wrong with them and plan on doing it again lol)
