Default "exhausted"

Aw man I am so tired of searching now. I have had this car for almost a month now and it seems as though I'm not getting the answers that I need.
I try to be a good forum person and search but I'm coming up empty handed. I have searched practically 4 to 5 hours daily looking for info on this car. I thought Honda parts were easily and readily available. Part of the problem is that there are so many dern different types of honda engines.

Now I got the car with a swapped engine. From AT to MT.
The car body is a '94 Civic HB with a D16Y8 engine. I was just reading up on the "MINI ME." How do you tell if your car has a mini me engine. Also the Intake manifold....I don't know what engine my manifold is from because all of the manifolds that I have seen thus far don't look like what I have. Can B Series Manifolds mount up to D Series Engines and vice versa.

Also the IACV.....I am so confused at this point. AHHH FRIGGG IT.

PICS, INFO, ANYTHING WOULD HELP AT THIS POINT.
My wife is getting annoyed now that I have been without a car for a few months and I'm using her car and it seems like it's taking forever to get this one fixed.

I have officially hit a dead end.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE HELP!!!!!!
I'm about near ready to go Taliban and blow this bitch to bits. (Not my wife.....the car )

Did a little more searching. Appears to me that the IM in my car is from a D15B7.
Soooo.....I assume then that the D15 and D16 parts are interchangeable. Please let me know or point me in the direction as to what engine parts can mount up or are interchangeable with what. Once I can get this info then I would have untangle some stuff.
DAYAM this is like a friggin puzzle....and I hate puzzles.

did u buy from a person or do you have anyway of asking previous owners about the swap? May be able to learn more about your engine that way.

You don't have a mini-me. If you had a mini-me, the engine wouldn't say D16Y8 on it, because a mini-me is a VTEC head on a non-VTEC block. The letters D16Y8 are engraved in the block, and the D16Y8 is a VTEC engine, so if you have a VTEC block then you don't have a mini-me.

Tons and tons of D-series parts are interchangeable, I can't really even make you a list because there's just too much to list.

D-series and B-series manifolds are not interchangeable.

You have an Si, so the intake manifold is probably a D16Z6 manifold since that's what your car originally had. D16Z6 and D15B7 intake manifolds look very similar but the D16Z6 one has different runners or something like that.

What island are you on? Or is it just the name of the car?

I'm in Nassau.
Island Tunerz is the name of a club here in Nassau, so I just put that on my car in photoshop.
