why would there be a differance? Both are basically metal tubing with a air fliter on one end. The performance is mainly controlled on its location. You can have it low and near the fender and it would get a nice sorce of air, but then you are in a risk of sucking up water from a puddle or on a rainy day and causing a hydro lock. Remeber when u are purchasing a AEM or other big brand name, 50 percent of the cost is purchasing it name brand. Come on, 250 for a metal piping?
