Unhappy help!!!!

Help nOOB here,
I have a D14a4 ej9,just recieved a d15z6 intake manifold.
As i have the week off i thought i would have a crack at the conversion myself. can anybody provide my with pics of where all pipes and sensors fit, i got most of it done, problem is when the trottle is open it kills the revs... ANY help appreciated.

Have you properly installed it with all the correct sensors??The manifold absolute pressure sonsor or throttle position sensor could be at fault.Or it could be an ecu problem are you using the d14 unit or the z6 unit ?,also make sure you've connected up the crank position sensor.Try a d15b7 ecu ?

ahhh that could be it... im still using the D14 ecu!, also theres a black cylinder on the back with a sensor, what is this one??? cheers

European.

D15Z6 actually exists too, in Europe.


So it's essentially a D16Y7 to D16Y5 manifold swap.

ok, now it will not fire!!!! .
What could cause this considering i am working with the IM

Unplugged injectors? Fuel line not connected to fuel rail?

Checked that, it all seems fine (fuel lines, injectors etc.)
Any oher ideas??
