im pretty sure he meant the filter thing. but now that you say it, he might have meant ITB, but i dont think so.

 

you can use itbs with a turbo setup just look at a tt supra motor, it is just hard to tune on a civic and you need a mainfold to connect to each of the throttle bodies, so the instant throttle response would be nice but the cost of fabriction would outweigh it

 

ITB's do work with turbo....check this vid...its disgrossting...............

that guy ^^ is running like 11.5 CR and 12psi...hes crazy. or maybe its 10.5...id have to watch the video again.

 

Sacs i was talkin about just takin my air filter off......but im not. I have never seen a car boosted with ITBS thats a lot of precesion welding

you could do it, but you would be better off just putting a plenum over the stacks. but that (turboing it) would kill the sweet music coming for those suckers.

 

after i graduate from college (with my 10 second EK turbod coupe ...i wish) im gunna start saving to build a NA EG Hatch...one of the reasons is just so i can have ITBs
