would you mind measuring its circumference with a tape measure when you get a chance, to see if it is less than 32 inches around? I need to know so i can order a muffler hanger strap.

I got a measurement around the muffler of about 27.5 inches. The measurements from Flowmaster's site are 13.5'' x 10'' x 5''.

Here's a link to the accessories/tips from their site
http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/sh...index&cPath=54

Something that I want to let you know is when I pick up the muffler, I can here something moving/rattling around inside. I remember it making this noise when I got it and I can't remember if the one I put on my Civic made the same noise.

where you happy with the way it sounded on your car? Would you say its quieter than a fart can, or equally as loud but lower?

Is the rattle something small like a pea that wouldnt be noticeable under acceleration,or something big like a brussel sprout?

I LOVE it. I think Flowmasters enhance the sound of the car whereas fart cans (I think) change how the car sounds. My Civic sounds really deep and throaty with a nice growl. Its much louder on the outside than it is on the inside but it still sounds nice on the inside. I've also never had any kind of raspy/crackling sounds that most fart cans produce. I can try and make a video of how mine sounds if you want to hear it.

One thing to keep in mind, and this is very important, is to be patient with the Flowmaster. When I first put it on my Civic, I could barely hear it. But over the next few months, it got louder and deeper sounding by the day. So if you're disappointed with it, just give it time.

The little rattle sounds like a little metal bearing that is loose. Like I said it was shipped to me with the sound so I'm going to assume its normal. I've never heard any weird noise coming from the one on my Civic.

Im weary about the rattling, I have been looking, and there are numerous people who have gotten bad flowmasters with loose baffles that are quite noticeable above 3000rpm. if it is just a pebble or a lose weld bead that would be ok if it would eventually shake out.

If you can manage to shake whatever it is out, I will difinately buy it from you, ive checked out some ebay clips and im happy with the sound on a civic. But, i dont really wanna take the risk if its rattling, sorry man.

Don't be sorry, its completely understandable. I was a bit weary about the rattle when I got it. I'll try and see if I can get whatever it is to come out and report back.
