I just installed my aem v2 on my 04 civic ex. Do i have to pull out the ecu chip and put it back in? i heard from someone that you had to do that in order for car to run smoother.

 

what you should have done is just pulled off the negative terminal on yoru battery before install, the put it back on after install. you can do it now though, that will also reset the ecu.

further note, you could not do anything at all and it will eventually reset itself.
