the after cat 02 wouldnt make it run bad. but if you hit the o2,or even dropped it, or put way to much heat to it, it could ruin it. iv seen all these things happen.

just go to a junk yard and cob another one off another civic foir like 30-50 bucks but i might be wrong on the price

Really? How hot would you have to get it, that would be hotter than the exhaust gases??
