Not too sure about midas, but I'm sure there prices are comparable to meineke where I had mine done. After all was said and done with the Twin loop muffler, and Magnaflow cat welded and custom piping, it was about $450.

find a custom muffler in your shop that local tuners can vouch for. they usually do a MUCH better job.

midas and meineke are in the hamburger business: get 'em in, get 'em out.

no artisans there...

nice analogy there anyways, i just had a talk with some guy on the 7th forums, one of the mods, and he had a ebay exhaust welded to his stock piping and he claims it sounds good. what's the size of stock piping? also, could someone explain exactly why people default to say that ebay exhausts are crap?

Yeah, drbyers is probably right, but seeing as how all my friends who had exhaust work done from other exhaust shops, sounds like **** and the weld jobs look terrible I just went to the place that I know does a good job. But, you know you're going to pay up the **** right when you go there.

yeah thats what i did. Go to a custom muffler shop and have them weld it on. They do a good job and cost you lots less. My whole catback cost me 150 and it looks good and everything. Don't go to big chains, find a custom shop, one of the old dudes who been doing the **** for years and knows how to do it. Trust me they know their shyt and you'll save, save lots.
