nah if you get aftermarket headers then there wont be a cat if thats what ur trying to get at...and then just get an after header cat, and slap it on...

 

All I want is an aftermarket header and cat... I have the intake and cat-back exhaust on... I just need to know what is necessary to fill in the in between!

 

Ok if you already have the after market intake and exhaust, all you need are the new headers and a high flow cat(cheaper than stock and flows better). That will be longer than where it meets the exhaust so get an exhaust shop to cut part of the exhaust off where you need room and then get it welded to the cat? let me know if you have anymore questions. And yes...lots will need to change if you turbo or swap.

 

I'm waiting for an official write-up and report from sacicons on the Thunder header.
Soon after there should be a very appealing group buy for headers and exhausts.

 

they dont make a header for your car. An EX header will do the trick though. It will bolt right up.


You can keep your exhaust. However you need to score a magnaflow cat. A muffler shop should do it for around $50. Check with one of the forum vendors.
