when you get the intake with the ebay air filter, even though its a washable one it still sucks? If you buy a K N from lets say discount auto parts or somthign its a box/square one not a cone that comes with the intake, is there a cone filter available for the civic or is it not that big of a deal. Also most of the exhausts that i saw for sale always come with the fart can muffler, can you get one without it, so there is no loud noise but still the performance inhancment

I guarantee K&N has a conical filter to fit your intake. You are probably looking for your make/model car, right? You need a universal application, not a drop-in. Just find one with the 2.5 or 3" inlet, whichever you have. AEM's use K&N but they have technology in the piping too. But like I said if you don't have 200 to drop on an AEM, the one you have with a K&N will be cool for now.

I am sure they make the chambered muffler like you are talking about, but I doubt you will find a cat-back with one. Most tuners want a straight-through design though. Go to your local muffler shop and have them do a custom 2.25" from the cat to a Flowmaster. It would probably be cheaper than a high-end cat-back. Actually that's a really good idea, let me know how that turns out. It will probably sound pretty good.

It's better than stock for $24, but probably isn't very good quality or efficient wise.
