well i hadnt seen any posts like this. think something of the sort should be stickied
im very interested in seeing some headers that have had some run time........
and a briefly describ what the header is and maker if ya know....
MAIN REASON FOR POST is to see how well different headers stand up in looks for the long run.





to start out the bad id say

my cheap no name header on my 99 EX vtec after driving ruffly 1/2hour.
it was chrome looken when i instaled it!

 

Every stainless steal header is going to turn it's color. First it will go gold and then it will go to a blueish. Nothing you can do about it.

 

Is there a sound difference between stock and aftermarket? Is it louder or quieter in your car?

 

no change..... i still have all my stock exaust parts besides the header.
now on non EX and i think SIs then when ya put on a header ya lose the cat, which would probably make a difference in sound!

im just looken to see what looks best over the years on these cars.....
changing color isnt realy a bad thing... but if it goes realy crudy looken i dont want it...

some ive seen actualy look preaty cool cause the color change parts are more on the motor which looks cooler than the whole thing changing colors

 

what ebay header is that?

 

no clue it was at a local car show. alls i know is it said Emachine on the box it came in.
