Resonator
So I bought Megan Racing Drift Spec Exhaust, it says it comes with a built in resonator. Is this just a test pipe or is it a legit resonator. I remember seeing a pic like this on the forums and someone said that it was just a test pipe. So I thought I'd just ask for confirmation, thanks. Btw this cost me 360 w/shipping & tax.

Circled in the picture is the built in resonator they are referring to. It is just part of the cat-back that helps reduce raspy noise. It's not the same thing as a test pipe, those replace your cat
Ya I kinda figured that part was the built in resonator, thanks for the confirmation Forty
Anyone have an idea of how much this will cost to be put on @ a shop. This is a direct bolt on so it doesn't look like to much physical work will be neeeded.

Free if you do it in your driveway
It's actually a really easy install. The only think you're likely to have trouble with are the bolts holding the stock cat-back to the stock cat. If you have a die grinder or cutting wheel of any sort, it's a peice of cake.
