how much damage have i done to my car?? should i go in to honda and have them service it? isn't the torque converter damaged?
haha, i'm quoting myself. but i read around other forums and it seems like in my prob, if was as if my gas pedal was ALL the way down and i was stompping on the brakes to stop it. does this damage my tranny? i turned off the car. turned it on, it instantly revved to 4K. turned the car off. damages?

you guys are assuring me that there's no damage. for real? i'd be delighted to hear nothings damaged but i just wanna check again. i'm really paranoid sinec its a new car to me

It's not that easy to damage your car. Rev limiter is there to stop you from going into really dangerous territory.
