Skunk 2 or half custom?

Thats why I was debateing on a twin loop. to keep the pressure there, and get a little bit of sound. But the sound is just below my wanted level. So this is where I stand.......

The "placebo effect" is something that isnt really there, but your convinced it is. Your going to think more hp and faster acceleration when really, its just a new, louder, deeper tone thats fooling you. Im not racing, so Ill settle for the placebo. Good phrase by the way My05..

I wasn't expecting even a 5 hp increase, I was just wondering if there was even any hp increase. So... buying universal mufflers and getting a custom exhaust is a complete waste of money becuase it doens't produce backpressure due to no bends in the pipe ?

No, you can get the custom exhaust piping bent anyway you want it. You can buy the muffler until you can afford the piping. Then buy the piping and have it worked in how you want. I know there are places that will do the fabricating on exhaust piping. Custom ends up being cheaper.
