v2 intake

Default v2 intake

hey guys thanks for your input ont he intakes...i got the v2 and installed it and its very nice...one problem though..i got a k&n filter and i jimmy rigged it so that it fit inside the tube and i tightened the clamp that way is that abd or no?

Pretty sure it should have been put outside, the clamp does nothing, you're not gonna bend the metal to create a seal around the filter, you should un-jimmyrig it.

Wait did you buy a K&N filter instead of using the one AEM sent with the V2?

ya i would take the filter out and set it up like its soppsed to be..its not getting the full affect of a intake, with the filter on the end it gets more air

Use the one that comes with the kit, its just as good or possibly better then a K&N, there new dry synthetic works great and breaths without any restriction but filters everything out

you guys do know that AEM uses the exact same concept and design as the K&N filter right? its basically the same filter.

Hey man your going to like the intake. I have one it and I love it to much. Its going to suck when i go turbo. Ohh well.

the intake is wonderful i put it in with dc 4-2-1 cermaic headers and i love the sound...its a little ricey but the magnaflow exhuast helps with the dampening its relly deep and loud definite power gains as well such a nice investment
