So as I have said before CAI OR V2 get water in the engine(too many puddles here), so if I were to get a short ram system, would it still be worth it (or just stick with stock b/c power diff, wont increase that much with a short ram).Or is it really worth it and why.Thanks for the help.

if cai filter is in the fender i dont think you would suck that much water inside.
as to my brand question, i know both companies make cai and i was thinking which one to buy, but never mind, i got injen cai which i hope i will get tomorrow

From what i remember of my mazda days there are a few things to take into aco**** here:

there are pulses going thru the intake tract so
by making the intake longer these pulses are amplified more at lower rpm's

this helps more air flow into the engine at lower rpms, thus more low-end/midrange torque

with a shorter intake these pulse move up in the rpm range, thus more high-end hp

and from what i can see the V2 appears to take advantage of the venturi effect


I would say it all depends on what you are looking for, but over all i thinkg the V2 will perform best.

lol its ok man. i was gunna say if carlover started another thread about intakes i was going to personally track him down and strangle him.
