Default 2000 front end on a 96 civic?

Will the front end on a 2000 Civic bolt right up to the front end of a 96 civic? (i have a 4dr) does that matter?

If it fits do I need to stay with the 4dr front end or can I do the front end from any 2000 civic?

I want to swap the front bumper, headlights, and the little grille where the Honda symbol is.

Can I do it just as a bolt up or is there more to it?

I am actually in the process of doing this swap on my car right now. There is a whole lot more to it than that. I absolutly required parts are the two front fenders, hood, headlights, grille, and bumper. And still after you get these parts the bumper doesn't fit the radiator support just right. You can use the support out of you 96 but it will have to be modified, It's alot simplier than welding in a 99-00 support though.

Any front end from a 99 or 00 civic will fit on your 96 (what I have), and youll definitely need the stuff that CivCoupe listed. Its a fairly easy install that you should be able to do yourself, as well.
