Default 96 -> 00 front end compatible?

my 96 is a bit of a fixer upper. it needs a hood, right front fender and front bumper cover

wondering if the 00 stuff will fit ok on the 96? or, do i have to stick with 96-98 parts?

the right front headlight (not installed but was included with the car) appears to be off a 00 .. looks way better than the one on the drivers side which is the original 96 .. will it work?

some body parts listings i see that 96-00 are the same parts, some others are 96-98 and then others are listed as 99-00 only

will the a 00 hood, fenders, headlights and front bumper cover all bolt right up without modification? they look close but, you guys are the gurus and i'm sure will know for sure

thanks

The front end stuff is 96-98 or 99-00 specific. You CAN do a conversion on your car, but it requires some modification.

Here is a DIY: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...99-00-a-81046/

worked out well, found everything I needed from a 96 in silver. only thing is the headlights were aftermarket i think with a purplish yellow lense on them that would be fine but the rear of the housing and tabs were broken on the left light. so i'll see if i can swap lenses between housings.
