Alot of people say krylon, but I think that stuff chips to easy, to much to take care of it, then you just start to hate it. I would take the pieces out and bring it to get sprayed in a booth with automotive paint. They wouldnt charge you much to spray.

^ krylon fusion is made for plastic. i did the exact same thing as you except the cf part. all i did was 600 grit sand paper then primer then krylon fusion and i have had it for atleast a year at it still hasn't cracked or chipped. looks the same as the day i painted it.

Just wanted to say that you're doing EXACTLY what I want to do to my car! As for input... isn't it possible to dye the dash pannel black? I've heard of people doing that, don't know how it looks or where/how to do it though...

Yeah don't use Krylon. Definately go with duplicolor. It's amazing if you do a good paint job. Here's some pics of the results of my interior using duplicolor enamel and vinyl paint.

i was just about to say use SEM color coat OR SEM classic coat.....i work in a automotive/house paint store in NY so yeah i stock both items including the SEM soap which you can just use some 5star Prep-sol(wax&grease remover).....SEM is extremely good.....if you have heard of Automat they are like the biggest interior cumtomizes/restorers on Longisland and they come in and buy this ****!!! so its good stuff!
