its gotta be the mechanizim, cant be the hinges or the door binding since it opens from the outside, you gotta just take off the panel and see whats wrong inside there.

Eric.

should be afew screws.... one behind door handle opening.... one screw in the door grip handle... and then 2 or 3 behind the speakers grill around the speaker. all philips screws and then pull the doors mirror trim piece UPwards and it should come off.... and THEN use a flat screw driver and pry under the bottom of the door panel and pop it back and forth to pop a few clips loose THEN the door panel should just come off..... pull the bottom of the door panel out from the door afew inches then pull the door panel upwards which will clear the window sweep and thier ya go.... should be right off...

most likely your plastic rod retainer clips just broke or came off and the rod poped off. very simple fix..... but IF its not the problem... then your latch MIGHT have busted.... or just dry and stuck. spray it down some with good penatrating oil and bolt it back in.... and work the latch afew times....

ok this is wierd but i took it apart and the actual latch itself the 3 holes where they bolt to the side of the car became stripped so there was nothing to hold the latch back shile i pulled on the lever so apparently i have to get a all new latch. or is there a way to un strip it, i dont know if its plastic or not??
