Fog Light Fixing
Ok so I have had plenty of problems with my aftermarket Fogs on the Civic and now have a few questions. My passenger side keeps filling up with water and I have sealed every single hole and nook possible!
Now I just purchased some H3 Yellow Xenon bulbs for it and the right side after I drain it(Done this before) is full brown because of the water.
So is it possible to take off the actual lens, and do you think the brown will clean off or that it's permanently stained brown?
If it can be cleaned what should I use. The best news is that the driver side is completely dry and works great.
I will post pics soon if that will help.

I will hopefully be doing this project this weekend because that's when me and my buddy are putting on my Tein's. I will check both for sure, I just hope the brown will come out because it makes the light look terrible and I don't wanna pay $70+ for another set of fogs.
A full Ebay set of fogs should be around $40. Which comes with the wiring harness, bulbs, bezels, brackets, housings etc. You could always replace the bulbs/brackets & bolts (if rusty)/housings (after resealing of course), and use the wiring harness as spare wiring for later, or sell it for like $5-$10. Also, you could sell the bezels themselves for about $10, too.
Ok so I listened to CVCRCR and just bought another set of ebay fogs for around $40 just for the lights. Since I already have a heavy duty wire harness I can just sell or replace the parts, my question is what is the best sealer to use on these new ones because Im going to seal every nook and cranny possible?
Just use a silicone sealant found at pepboys etc ~$8-9 for a tube, but it will last a decent amount of time. I was able to do my headlights 3 times (completely resealing them since I removed the lens a few time), and do my tails once, and I still have some left over.
Also, where you go to get to the bulb out itself (after removing 8 or so screws on the back), there is a little gasket type thing, make sure that it sitting correctly. Some silicone sealant back there may help keep water out, too.
Now, with an extra set that you have, you play with the "bad" set and take them apart and see what you can do with them in terms of cleaning/restoring.

Yupp going to do all the toying around I can with the old ones, because Fogs have been nothing, but trouble since I got them and it is my fault, but will fix my mistakes for sure and have these ones looking great!
Thanks!
Thanks!
