Fixing Speedometer for GF
One of my presents for Valentines day for my girlfriend is to fix her speedometer on her 98 AT civic Sedan. I have searched and have concluded that it is her Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) that is broken. The needle always reads 22mph and it is very unsafe to not know how fast you are driving.
I do not know where the VSS is in her car. I have searched and read it is on the tranny underneath the car but I could be wrong.
Can someone post pics and maybe a short DIY?
I have a 05 Sentra Spec V so I know a lil bit about cars. Sorry about the long post

no, the v.s.s. is actually in the speedometer. it works off an electrical pulse that is transmitted by the left front wheel, the sending unit has a single wire plug the wire will be white
