for some this maybe an odd question, but how do i replace the headlight bulbs in a 98 dx hatch, theres small clips on the headlights but it doesnt seem to want to come out, and i dont want to break anything. so if anyone knows how it would be g reatly appreciated, thanks!

 

the metal clips you have to push in on a little and then move either left or right they are on a hinge then will then flap down

 

theres no metal clips, ill take pics of what i mean when i find my camera.. does anyone else think they can help me ? thanks

 

Post a picture.. I am almost positive 02civc is right... you just have to coerce that metal tab until you can move it away... kinda like a child proof medicine bottle, but the only cure is MORE COW BELL BABY!...im retarded

 

yeah take a pic but i think all civic from like 93 and up have the metal hinge

 

yes he is correct there is a metal ring that you have to sort of push in and down in order for it to release what is holding down the bulb. I swapped mine out last week and it took me a few minutes to figure it out..
