OK, Here's the thing. I drive a 2006 Honda Civic Lx Sedan(White). I was driving down the highway yesterday and heard something hit under my car. At first I thought I blew a tire, but after I pulled over to see what happened, I saw a gash under my driver door. It is in the.... ummmmm... side skirt, if thats what it is called... or at least thats where the side skirt will go. It is almost not visible, but the metal is exposed, and will surely start rusting.

My question.... How should I go about fixing this? I've been looking for some side skirts that will cover it up, but will still look kind of normal. I still will need to repair the gash though. It is about 2 inches long, and maybe an inch wide at the widest point.

Please help.

Post a few picture of the damage and we should be able to help you. Without being able to see it though, I cant tell you what you should do.

might be expensive..but take it to your honda dealer and they have a body shop where they will fix it.

 

for now, get some touch up paint and cover it up so the moisture dosent get to it
