if you cut your springs you are an idiot. you should be burned at the stake. with that said, save up, get $500 and get a good set of springs and struts, you will not be dissapointed. you get what you pay for.

noooooo, and don't cut your freaking springs.

If you want a mellow drop, get Tein S-Techs, and depending on how old your OEM struts are, new struts. I have S-Techs on 160K OEM struts and the ride is just fine, and the drop looks good too. They were less than $200, and not THAT hard to install.

Speaking as someone with cut springs (I bought it that way. Back off me), I've got to say it's one of the roughest rides I've ever had in a car. Doing a 2 inch drop with cut springs means I'm riding rough and bottoming out on everything larger than a quarter in the road.

I was ridin a 3 inch drop on cut springs. Everything els stock. It was very very bad. I went through a set of michellin tires in 3 months.

Three inch drop? Holy hell, man, that's like scraping your oil pan with noone in the car, just sitting on flat land.

Yeah, but it looked so awesome. If I had enought money I would lower it that far again. The right way.

hey dont cut them springs, save up and get a decent aftermarket lowering springs
