Here is an entire thread full of rattle can jobs. They can look good with a ton of wet sanding like I said, but they don't last long and chip easily.

All I said is you could make it look good if you take your time and do it right.

As far as Maaco goes, I'd rather have a rattle-canned car than a Maaco "paint job".

Maaco just did my friends VW Golf and it actually looks good. Just got the presidential job with an extra clear coat. We did a little extra buff work on it and it looks pretty damn good. Maaco's vary, some have terrible painters and others have good ones.

i rattle canned my DA and it looked sick!!!

not gonna lie the painting was easy as ****!!! but tapping asnd masking AND wet sanding i took for ever it took a few days, but it was worth it. too bad i blue the engine 3 weeks later, but dude you will also spend alot of money on paint too, i mean if i remeber correctly i used overr 18 boddles
