Here is an entire thread full of rattle can jobs. They can look good with a ton of wet sanding like I said, but they don't last long and chip easily.

All I said is you could make it look good if you take your time and do it right.

As far as Maaco goes, I'd rather have a rattle-canned car than a Maaco "paint job".

Maaco just did my friends VW Golf and it actually looks good. Just got the presidential job with an extra clear coat. We did a little extra buff work on it and it looks pretty damn good. Maaco's vary, some have terrible painters and others have good ones.

^Nice. I want one of the AWD Civic wagons bad, but the old Accord wagons aren't bad either.
