Sound deadening

RE: Sound deadening
I was just at a local zeibart... they advertize some kind of road noise reducing undercoating for the bottom of the car... they want $179+ for the whole shebang.
Has anyone tried a system like that? Good/bad?

It is best doing it on a hot day... the warmer the surface of the car, the more pliable the tsunami (thanks for the reminder padresfan) which means it is gonna stick more... i payed my buddy to do it cuz I was too busy some of the days I put the stuff on (ie the doors, which took the most time)... The trunk was really easy, just use a razor blade to cut around he openings where you place in tail lights

DO NOT UNDERCOAT YOUR CAR! It is most likely already coated with something, but if you do it you could risk condensation getting locked in, causing major rust problems. Use the tsunami stuff and you'll be happy and do it yourself

In my civic so far i figure I have saved about 1000 bucks in labor and I was able to get really good deals in Idaho.. my buddy owns an audio shop there so I rarely payed even 10% over his cost... I got a lucky break
