Default Spoiler install

I'm going to put a spoiler on my 8th gen sedan... either the decklid lip spoiler or the si 'wing' spoiler, and, by the looks of it, I don't see any reason (yet) why I should pay my dealership the cost of installing whichever one I get.

What do you all have to say from your experiences installing these things?
Does the Si spoiler install require drilling?
...and all of the decklid spoilers that I've seen on eBay say that it attaches with an adhesive only. Has anyone done this and does it hold up with adhesive only?

I'm assuming that eBay is the best place to get these parts because Honda charges and arm and a leg for them as genuine accessories (even before adding on installation costs)

Thanks, everyone!

well if its a stock spoiler than its definatly 4holes drilled thru the deck lid.......

those ebay stick on lowprofile spoilers should hold good!!!!!! JUST CLEAN THE mounting area VERY GOOD!!!!!!!
and helps to apply the adheasive on a warm day out in the sun and rub it down realy good just be sure you have help to apply it so you line it up perfectly on both sides before touching the tape to the car!!!!! cause when it sticks IT STICKS GOOD!!!! SO BE SURE your ready to apply before ya peel back that adheasive backing!

Thanks! Yes, that all looks like sound advice. For the factory models that have the simple decklid spoiler (really, only the Hybrid model comes with it stock), do ya think it's glued on?

The Si 'wing' style spoiler is a good bit larger and heavier wit the brakelight in it, etc, so I'm not surprised that it'd need bolts.

I was having trouble deciding between the simple lip spoiler or the wing, but I'm don't want to drill holes in the car, so I'm leaving towards the lip spoiler.
