Default Using a car cover?

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum so please excuse me in advance if I am not posting in the right section.

I was wondering if anyone uses a car cover on their vehicle and would like to share their good/bad experience?

I am looking to get a cover from Car Covers | Waterproof car cover | Indoor car covers | Outdoor car covers (5 layers) and was told by a sales rep that the inner cotton layer would make sure it won't scratch the finish of my car.

Is a cotton layer safe? Would like some opinions..

Thanks!

Will this be for outside use, or inside?

I had a outside cover by a big name outfit on my classic caddy 2dr cpe and it still left minor scratchs even when taking it off very carefully..

This is a fact...not an opinion..
