I've been looking into getting an HID kit for sometime now. Well now it is time for me to actually buy one, and I don't really know what I need. I've been looking around and they give you the choice of rather; Philips 6000K single beam HID kit w/ stander harness
, Philips 6000K single beam HID kit w/ upgrade harness , Philips 6000K H4 dual beam HID kit w/ wiring harness
(Xenon Low beam / Xenon High beam), Philips 6000k H4 Bi-Xenon HID kit w/ wiring harness Xenon Low beam / Xenon High beam. I just bought authentic JDM headlights, non projectors so I don't really know what I need. I need some advice.

Go to a Pep Boys, and search your car on thier "bulb finder" it'll tell you what kind of connection you car needs.

I think all stock civic are an H4 Bulb... If you have projector headlights then you'll most likely be H1 type... Personally I would get my HID kit from an actual honda/acura tuner shop. Pep boys usually caters to trucks and bigger rigs and they'll charge you for shipping the stuff in. 6k bi-xenons would be sweet in stock housing because they wont throw the light everywhere and it looks very sharp... Going up from 6k to 8k you're gonna get more blue and less light. I have 8k in projectors and they are VERY blue... I almost wish i had 6k instead. But compared to halogen my 8ks still are at least 3 or 4 times brighter... so no matter what type you get, they will literally kill halogens

Dude, if "go to pep boys" was the only logical answer, then this whole forum would be pointless... I do kinda see chimera's thoughts thouugh.. I imagine he has heard your same question probably a billion times and the only answer he can give without his head imploding is the "ask someone else" response
