Lightbulb 1987 honda civic blinkers not working

I have a 1987 honda civic dx hatchback, I got it wanting to fix it up a bit, but im a tad new to cars. I've checked the fuse, and it was fine, but I still can't get them to work. I don't know how to check the relay, but a good question that I can ask that will advance me, is Does anyone know if 1 light out on the blinkers make all of the blinkers stop working on those old civics?? I also hear no sound when I blinker either

What about 4-way hazard switch? You could have a bad turn signal switch or a bad relay.

I just tried the hazards, they did not work either. My grandpa says a bulb may be out, or yeah, the relay

Ok, I have now tried: replacing relay and fuses, each bulb lights up. Neither blinkers nor harzards still work. We think something in the steering column is broken. Any suggestions???
