You don't want a Verizon Razr... the firmware is crap. You probably don't want an LG or Verizon brand either. I'd go with a Nokia, Motorola (non razr) or a PDA/Smart Phone. The Motorola Q looks sweet.

the Chocolate is about the only phone you can get from verizon now that's NOT a flip phone. [&:]
I know a lot of people who had problems with the early RAZRs, but the newer ones seem to be better.
It's sweedish...

Motorola KRZR K1, Samsung A990, LG vx8300, or the chocolate is fine.

that is why im updating...ive been told to check out the V-vcast...the chocolate, and the V8600...i got terrible service so i wrote in and bitched, and they had a rep email me to answer my questions...so i will see what this person says.

can anyone confirm for me that the chocolate or other MP3 phones will hooked to one of those modulators that "broadcasts" the music to the radio? like an ipod?

The problems I've heard of with the RAZR were not about it's performance, but rather it's durability. My buddy has been through two of them already. One was in his pocket at a concert, and died due to the moisture from his leg sweat, as minimal as it was.

The other one, while in his pocket, cracked while he was getting into his car

Moral of the story, if you're like me and put your phones through a fair amount of abuse, don't get the razr

yea my friend was writing a text message and he dropped it from like 3ft of the ground and it snapped in half. he got another one and if you closed it too hard it would shut off and not come back on for like 4 hours.

Thats the least thing u want to do. Transmitters suck. Sony ericsson has one that works w their phone. Get a tape player of a supported HU if you want to hook up the phone w ur car.
