Oh well i gues i just assumed lol cause most people buy and not build. lol but i don't think i will be getting a dual core or quad core, too expensive, i may just get the best that i can without going into dual or quad cores.

that doesn't matter, as obviously, you have a legit copy (or fake) of XP

nothing funnier than running windows on a mac... and actually, the support is pretty good

 

if i got a Mac though it would be for the fact that it is a Mac i wouldn't install windows on it, and besides since i just got my bitchen new monitor, i dont want to get rid of that now.

 

you can use peecee monitors with the new macs... LOL.

asus are good mobo. you get lots of options with this motherboard.

 

Tahts what i like to hear, i found a 3.4ghz HT pentium for $119 so i may get that for the mobo if i get it.

 

Hmm i may have found a bargain that i can't pass up, i know i said i wasn't going to get a dual core, but a coworker wants to get rid of his comptuer , and he has a dual core 2.8ghz, 320gb hard drive. with case and powersupply for $500. just cause he is going on vacation and needs the money lol

i'd never personally buy used electronics. cars MAYBE. but never electronics.

my computer is 7 years old and still running strong (dual processor mac) but that's because i've taken care of it, just like i take care of my cars.

i'd have to bite the bullet and get a new computer from worst buy or circuit chitty because it would come with a warranty, or build one with parts that had warranties.
