i need one real bad, prolly gettin some with my grad money
although anytime a cop is parked and using radar, hes like way out in the open where you can see him from far away, and the other day there was a cop parked clocking people, but he had his lights going haha it made everybody slwo down though, so i guess it was working

i have one. it always picks up the speed detector things on the freeway. ive been pulled over since then and everytime i yell at the radar detector as if it were a person. i dont think it rele helps its more of a conversation piece when i have people in the car lol

Never have used one, don't plan on getting one. Been driving for 2 years now, still haven't gotten a speeding ticket.
Plus, I probably couldn't hear it anyway my car's so stinkin loud. [8D]

Owner of a Beltronics Vector 955...its pretty useless in the city environment just for that facts that A. theres really no where you can really go fast in traffic and B. there are a couple of places that have automatic doors, and sometimes set off the detector...
also, most cops do not even turn on their radars while driving in the city, unless its the end of the month, and they are well below their quota for that month...
on the highway, however, its priceless...the dector detects radar and laser frequencies from a really long distance, and you have enough time to slow down...
Just look at it this way...it pays itself off whenever you get warned of a police cruiser ahead of you...
