From what I can find, the B16s had several transmissions, all with the same gear ratios:

1st: 3.230
2nd: 2.105
3rd: 1.458
4th: 1.107
5th: 0.848
Reverse: 3.000
Final Drive: 4.400

I'd still love to get an EG, do an H2B and piece together a gearbox using several B-series transmission (mix/match gears). Supercharged H22 with an S80/Y80 0.714:1 5th gear? Hello, low-rpm highway cruising

*edit: How's this for a B-series transmission?
1st: 3.230 (B16__)
2nd: 2.105 (B16__)
3rd: 1.458 (B16__)
4th: 1.034 (B18c1)
5th: 0.714 (B18b1)
Revers: 3.000 (all)
Final Drive: 4.400 (B18c1/B16__)

A nice high FD with quick 1-4 (4th being lower than the B16's for closer to a direct-drive gear ratio) and a nice low 5th for cruising

Good info reaper, So all B16 Trannys have the gears the same short gears.
I always wondered about that.
Thanks.

Have you guys heard of anything good about JDM tiger?
they have pretty good prices on engines and stuff.
But i've read some horror stories about them..
I've ordered a few engines from www.japanengine.com , and i would recommend them to anyone, (prices are ok..) but they dont offer complete change over swaps and stuff.
And Buying the whole swap together would be a lot cheaper wouldnt it?
