Give me a year...

RE: Give me a year...
I agree with Marty, the S2000 just doesn't have enough go to be rendered a good seller. They just don't sell that much, they're a bit too small for the average person, and they certainly don't respond to mods well because their lackluster engines are pushed to the limits in the first place.
An S2000 will probably be my next car, but the first upgrade is going to be a built engine, GT35R, and a nissan rear.

RE: Give me a year...
AWW I am just goiong to say **** it. I am tired of dealing with salesman trying to figure out what I want. Besides that all the car's I am looking at get 18-25mpg. at this point I am pulling 35 with my civic and I am still not happy because I am still spending 100-150 per week in gas. I figure I will wait til I move closer to my town and out on my own before I buy a car like what I want. So since I ahve the civic for a while longer I have a whole new set of plans in the works for that thing.

RE: Give me a year...
Okay so this topic is coming back from the dead, I am going to replace the civic, just time to upgrade I am working quite a bit so I already ahve about 5k saved for a new car, So requirements are 2 seater (I jsut wanta 2 seater), RWD and get decent fuel mileage (22-26) be newer 2002+ and have good reliability. I drove an s2000 last saturday, and I fit in in it kinda, but my knees kept running into the dash. I have longer legs. I dont plan on purchasing til the end of this summer, so I will have about 18k to drop on a car. I am still eyeing the 350z but I want to see some reviews for relaibilty. And I probably will leave the engine a virgin. So no modding on this car, other then appearance mods. Any other views on possible cars? I checked the insurance on the STI and yead its not happending, they dont like that turbo

RE: Give me a year...
Maybe I'm just getting old, but I like the looks of the Infinity G35 coupe better. It's basically the same car as the 350z, but I like the body style better. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure they cost a fair bit more, and I'm guessing they'd be a bit heavier since they're more luxury oriented. It would be interesting to drive the two cars back to back and see what the differences are though.
