Got a ticket on my Bike yeasterday
So my girl and I took the bikes out for a ride yesterday, we were pulling out of her neighbor hood and I had a clear stretch of road so I pulled her up into a wheelie and just as I set it down a cop on a motorcycle pulled out from behind some trees with his lights on! [:@] He was cool about it and let me off with an "Unreasonable acceleration" ticket. It could have been Careless and he could have hauled my a$$ to jail for doing over 100mph so I'm happy about that but now my clean record is in danger. Hopefully I can get a 6 month continuance for dismissal. I probably should have waited till we got farther out into the sticks but I just had the urge to do it.
$120...same as a speed 1-10 over so not too bad. I'm sure I can get it reduced or dismised since my record is clean...lol....they always have before

hahahahahaha...I feel ya man...the only thing keeping me from getting tickets like that when i go riding with my buddies is the fact that im a puss and dont like to wheelies/endos.
Speeding is another thing.......160HP....6 gears....360lbs of bike...i mean C'MON!!!! you have to right?!

LOL...The cop actually asked me why I did it...I'm like it's a sport bike, they're made to go fast and when you have that much power it's tough not to use it. He was really cool and I was honest and said I know it was dumb but I get stressed out from time to time and the bike seems to help me out [8D]
Had he been in a car and I had been riding by myself I would most likely have dipped "not a good idea I know" but when I'm in an area I know and I'm already looking at a loss of license for 6 months I would rather take the risk. Being my girl was with me I didn't want her to get pulled over and questioned....which if I had dipped is exactly what he would have done.
I'm not saying its okay to run from 5.0 anytime but if I did it's my choice and my life.
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "...Holy ****...what a ride!"
