DADGAD isn't that bad, you're only de-tuning 3 strings. Here it is from low to high:
E - Drop full step to D
A - leave
D - leave
G - leave
B - Drop full step to A
E - Drop full step to D

i'm with reaper, i just keep mine at either standard or drop d for a little rock. plus changing the tension of the strings too much results in a short string life.

 

latest stuff i've been playing are various songs by the band death, and learning a couple paganini caprices.

 

I like "My Heroine" by "Silverstein". There is an electric and accoustic versions.

Oh and I have 2 guitars and I keep them in diff. tuning. Ones an Epiphone Les Paul Studio the others a ****ty fat strat nockoff. It's a Crate "Electra"
