ditto adam. My Si ia apparently the most loaded car of all the 96-00 generation and I dont even have abs

really? even the Si's dont have ABS, i thought that ex's and Si's do. i guess i just learned something new.

I have ABS on my 95 esi, although it isnt working at the moment. all uk vti's from 92-95 have ABS and the esi's got it in 95 for some reason.

92-00 EX sedans had it standard and on EX coupes it was optional. Though MSN Auto has been known to be wrong before.
like it's written..... optional on coupes. i know my EX doesn't have it, i wish i had it though

I agree with marty... ABS can screw you. Its happened to me before. ABS+mudding+trying to stay out of the way of a tree= weak sauce.

i cant bet you $10000000 dollers i have ABS, mabey US models dont?...i have a ABS light and in my owers manual i have ABS, also when i got my car i thought there was a problem with the ABS because it would kick in for a second after i start driving my car from starting it, and i had to call the dealership to see if the warrinty would cover it..and the dealer told me that the ABS is sopposed to do that..trust me

Maybe it's a Canadian thing. Everything I can find (US spec.) says with a manual tranny there's no ABS. I guess with an auto you can get it, not sure if its' standard equipment or not though.

american please!...but it is hard to find links with the ABS on the civic, mabey it is a canadian thing. I agree tho, ABS does sucks
