My mom hit a stray dog once, and she felt so bad for it. she put it in the back, and we all thought it was going to die, but we took it home, and it lived in the garage, and now its a big huge lab. He walks with a really bad limp in one leg because his hip was basically knocked out of whack, but the vet said hes just fine to walk that way. He didnt have a tag, so we kept. My momma calls him Sidewinder cause of his gimpness. Random I know, but not all bad things happen when you hit animals with cars...that sounded horrible.
