Default OBD-2 Actron Scanner

I just spent $284 and bought this scanner:

http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16317

(1) Was it worth it, I can return it if it wasn't.

(2) Is there something better than this, that has everything this does or more in the same price range or less?

(3) Is there anything bad about this scanner?

Thank-You,
Doug

Why did you buy it? Just to read MIL codes it's way overkill...

waste.. you can do that PLUS so much more with a usb-obd2 cord. i paid like 22 dollars for it, just hook it up to your laptop, then your car, install the software, and you can do everything including read ALL sensors in the car.

If you're just scanning codes, it's way overkill.

comes from hong kong, it took like 2 weeks for delivery due to that volcano in iceland thing, but they sent me free valve caps haha. very good seller, he kept in contact and stuff. and the cord works perfect. it comes with software, but you can download some online too. some cost, some dont. the free one works for what i need it to, so its all good with me.

I wanted something really good. I also have cars that are OBD-1, so I opted for all the cables and such.. I wanted freeze frame, scanning and everything.

How good is that USB thing? Does it do OBD-1?
